Of course there is bias in every vote for all of the contestants. Everyone wants their friend or family member to win, however, I still say you sing....If the judges listen to all and not get consumed with the vote count, you are still in the mix.

Chonce you are far the best. The clarity, the voice control, the sincerety you felt while singing makes you feel good about our country. The judges need to override the votes and choose the best singer and not the best fan. I don't understand how someone can read from the paper and still sing the wrong words be in first place. You kept the song true to form. Lov you, Auntie

Awesome job Chonte...you brought the anthem to life...i felt what this anthem means when you sang...i got the chills..great job and good luck. Thanks for singin the correct words too...lesson for some of the other contestants..

Chonte...the difference between your singing and the others is your voice gave me the chills when i heard you sing. the first and the second time. You were natural, not straining and just flawless. It makes me think of what the anthem is all about when you sing. Also, you sang the song correctly which is not true of at least 3 of the contestants if i remember correctly.
